Canon vs. Nikon

Did you ever wonder what would happen if a guy who shoots with Canon cameras met a girl who shoots with Nikon cameras? Me 'nether...but someone has and they made a video.

The rapper/singer in the video is photographer JoeyL. He is the photographer who shot the first Twilight Movie Posters.

Regarding the Canon/ Nikon thing. I shoot with Canon cameras. My first SRL was a Canon and been using them ever since.

I decided to have some fun and start doing reviews on the blog. I didn't feel like going into detail about why I like/dislike something. So the light bulb went off and I decided to do one word reviews. Why? You ask. I don't know. Just sounds like something to do.

If you get a chance check out George Lopez's new talk show tonight on TBS. I really hope it's good. I have seen him live a few times and he is just plain funny.

Practice Your Skills

The key to being successful is practice your skills. It doesn't matter whether your a doctor or a fisherman. To be a successful fisherman, you have to go fishing every day. In medicine it's the same. I still see patients and read four medical journals a week-otherwise I would lose my skill and relevance. You have to put in hours and hours, or you get nowhere in life. People have this vision that they will work hard and then get to lie on the beach. That's not how success happens. You work, and you keep working. The trick is to make work creative so it becomes like play.
