Closed for the weekend

Just a heads up to anyone who tries to contact Gonzales Photography this weekend. All phone calls, emails, texts, etc... will be answered Monday. This is a very big sports weekend. 1) Dylan has a basketball game. 2) Saturday is the big UFC fight. George St. Pierre vs BJ Penn will meet for the world championship. And 3) its Superbowl weekend with the game this Sunday. Pittsburgh Steelers vs Arizona Cardinals. Who do you think will win? I'm not picking a winner I have been wrong all season. I'll just enjoy the action and the commercials.
Until Monday have a great weekend and don't over load on too much sports.

The Longest Day

Ron Dawson brought together 24 of the top wedding photographers in the country for a fun experiment. The photographers are split into 2 groups they are to make a short film with all money raised going to charity. The kicker is they have 24 hours from concept to finish product. The films will be premiered at WPPI in Las Vegas. Here is the recap from episodes 1-4. To see the full length episodes go to F-Stopbeyond.tv.

Some basketball highlights

This is some footage from Dylan's basketball game a few weeks ago. It's really hard to record the actions and watch a game. He is number 24 in red. At the start of the video Dylan turns the ball over but stays with it and ends up swatting the ball when the other kid tries to score. Just showing off his defensive skills. Also the song is currently his favorite song. He usually ask to hear the song every time we are driving somewhere.

One football game left. Arizona Cardinals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl. Who would of guessed this match up. Maybe Pittsburgh but not the Cardinals. Anyway, I look forward to the commercials.

In the next few weeks I will be updating my website. I get behind during the year and forget to update the website. I do update The Blog and have been getting better at posting senior sessions, engagement sessions, and weddings. I must get better because people are expecting to have a slide show online to show their friends and family. What my clients want, they get:) I will keep everyone up to date about the changes.

This is a very big week in American history. M.L.K. holiday is tomorrow and Tuesday President Obama will take office. On the news they have been talking about how excited the world is and that America is back.

The new year has started. Is it me or did 2008 fly by?

The NFL playoffs have started. I don't really care who wins or loses. The Broncos are done for the season which sucks. Can you believe they fired their coach, I thought Shanahan was always going to be the coach. Anyway, I'm very interested in seeing who they hire next.

Well I look forward to the coming year. If you know anyone getting married or going to be a senior in high school tell them to check out Gonzales Photography. I will take care of them.
