I'm a fan of all types of photography and always trying to learn more. One of the things about photography is it can make pest look cool. Thomas Shahan a nature photographer specializes in amazing portraits of tiny insects does some very cool work. Here is his FLICKR page. I don't think I will be chasing bugs around trying to get a portrait in the near future. But the detail and color of his images rock. Imaging a Horse Fly looking interesting.
